House of Sunnah was established as a home based educational project for our family.
As we looked for schools to enroll our children in, we came to the conclusion that it was in the best interest of our kids if we home schooled them, rather than sending them to one of the public or private schools in the area.
It was not an easy decision to make, but it was one that we discussed and researched extensively before we made our decision. It has been both an enriching and a very challenging endeavor, and one that has brought us all closer together as a family; we are truly a family that works, learns, and strives together with all the good and the bad that come along the way.
We still face many challenges and have much work to do as the children grow older and become more demanding in their thirst for knowledge, but we welcome the challenge and continue to work together to create the best possible family environment we can.
I truly love that our kids are the closet people to us, and we to them; not only do we have a clear parent / child relationship, but we also have a true friendship with our kids, and that is extremely important... we are truly blessed.
